An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse (RMN) to join the Bryn Hesketh team. We look forward to your application.


### Job Overview A new role has opened for 40 hours per week, including shift work.


Main Duties & Responsibilities

The postholder will be responsible for:

  • Conducting assessments and treatments for patients, including:

    • Risk assessments
    • Care and treatment planning
    • Implementing evidence-based health interventions
    • Health promotion activities
  • Working across multiple shifts, including unsociable hours, to ensure seamless coverage for patients.

  • Utilising effective communication to:

    • Engage patients in their treatment pathway
    • Maintain service contact
    • Support service development and continuous improvement

### Qualifications

  • Desirable: Familiarity with mental health nursing (RMN specialist knowledge) is advantageous.

  • Desirable: Additional skills in flux monitoring, trauma-informed care, or Welsh-language nursing would be beneficial.

### Additional Notes About the Role

  • Language flexibility: The ability to speak Welsh is highly regarded (but not mandatory). Both English and Welsh-speaking candidates are equally encouraged to apply.
