Registered Nurse (Bank) – Runnymede Hospital
About the Role
Join Circle Health Group, Britain’s leading provider of independent healthcare, as a Registered Nurse (Bank) in the Wards department at Runnymede Hospital in Chertsey.
This as-needed bank role involves supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff during annual leave or absences.
Salary
Up to £20.00 per hour (depending on qualifications, experience, and training)
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with patient care plans and clinical protocols
- Assess and prioritise patient needs, updating care plans as required
- Monitor vital signs, recognise changes in patient condition, and escalate appropriate action using clinical judgement
- Administer medications safely and effectively, adhering to hospital policies and the NMC Code
- Maintain accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans, and observations
- Ensure all care aligns with NMC standards, clinical governance requirements, and hospital policies
- Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and potential risks following hospital procedures

Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria: ✔ Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration ✔ Demonstrable clinical experience within a healthcare setting ✔ Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice ✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ✔ Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team ✔ Proficient with IT systems for patient records, documentation, and care planning ✔ Previous specialty experience (e.g., surgical, medical, outpatient, orthopaedics, critical care) – desirable
