Registered Nurse – Springfield Nursing Home
Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time Day Shifts
Location: Springfield Nursing Home – Shanklin, Isle of Wight (PO37 6EX)
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will ensure the highest standard of clinical care is delivered to residents at all times, adhering to company policies, procedures, and the NMC Code of Conduct. Your primary focus will be promoting each person’s privacy, dignity, and independence.
This role is dynamic, challenging, and rewarding. You’ll have the autonomy to provide care across a broad spectrum of tasks, including:
- Monitoring residents’ blood sugar levels
- Administering medication
- Providing detailed handover reports to the next shift
- Offering support at end-of-life care

Key Responsibilities
Care Delivery
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate quality nursing care in collaboration with the management team.
- Promote person-centred care, ensuring residents fully participate in decisions affecting their lives by exploring all available options.
- Create a happy, caring, and safe environment where resident needs are prioritised at all times.
Team Collaboration
- Work alongside trained nurses and management to uphold high standards of care.
- Recognise and adapt to the varying needs of both staff and residents, fostering an inclusive culture.

Requirements
Qualifications & Compliance
- Current NMC registration (Active PIN number).
- Right to work in the UK.
