3-year Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship – January 2027 cohort

Your journey into nursing starts here.

Have you ever imagined building a career where you make a real difference every single day? Whether you’re already working in a clinical environment or currently in a non-clinical role, this is your opportunity to step into a profession with purpose, pride, and endless possibilities.

We are delighted to offer a 3-year Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship in partnership with the University of West London (UWL), fully funded by the Trust. Candidates must be able to start employment with the Trust in October 2026 and pass a three-month probation period in order to start the programme commencing in January 2027.

This provides a supported, structured pathway to becoming a Band 5 Registered Adult Nurse, with professional registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

The apprentices will:

  • Attend university for classroom-based teaching
  • Complete academic assignments and fulfil all university requirements
  • Attend assessed clinical placements across the Trust and community settings

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Employment contract is for an apprentice Nurse; if apprentice fails to complete, employment cannot be moved to another role.

Successful applicants will undertake the three-year Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship at UWL and will follow the timetable set by the university.

Apprentices will be paid a Band 3 salary during the duration of the programme. There will be an expectation that on completion of the programme when registration with the NMC is obtained that apprentices will work in the Trust for a minimum period of two years.
