Introducing our award-winning Endoscopy department!
Are you looking for a new opportunity to develop your Nursing career? Why not enquire about a role in Endoscopy today!
Our dedicated team are seeking motivated and caring Registered Nurses to join us as we continue to deliver excellence in patient care.
The Endoscopy Unit at NNUH is the largest in the UK, operating Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:30pm. This role includes on-call working (2–3 times per month); however, there are no routine night or weekend shifts as part of the standard working week.
As part of your role, you will rotate between Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and the Quadram Institute.
Following a significant investment in our Endoscopy services, the Quadram Institute enables us to perform up to 40,000 procedures each year, making NNUH home to the largest Endoscopy Unit in Europe.
Our award-winning department offers nurses the opportunity to work alongside a wide multidisciplinary team across a variety of settings, including therapeutic, diagnostic, inpatient, and emergency on-call services. These are delivered across our 13-room capacity at both the main NNUH site and the QI.
NNUH is also a centre for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme and a centre of excellence for endoscopy training, offering approved training courses for both doctors and nurses.
If you are passionate about patient care and keen to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment, we would love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
