Our Care Home in Pinhoe, Exeter

Our newly built care home is based in the charming suburb of Pinhoe, Exeter. We offer exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for 67 residents.

Job Opportunity

Registered Nurse RGN or RMN Contract

  • Salary: £22.36 per hour
  • Hours: Contracted to 36 hours per week
  • Benefits: Paid DBS, NMC, pension, uniform provided
  • Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks (based on a full-time contract)

Ongoing training, clinical updates, and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead, and Management roles, within a well-led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective, and person-centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice.

  • Assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication, and monitor changes in physical and mental health
  • Lead shifts, support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions, and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times
  • Work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, using your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation, and contribute to a well-organised, professional environment where dignity, independence, and wellbeing are always prioritised

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.

What We Are Looking For

  • Registered Nurse RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN
  • Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
  • Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a team
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in a care home setting is beneficial, however, we welcome nurses from a range of backgrounds who are keen to develop within this environment
