About This Role

Role: Registered Nurse (Full-time, Fixed Term until 31 Jan 2027, 32 hours/week)

  • Shifts: AM, PM, Nights & Weekends
  • Location: Edith Cavell Lifecare & Village, Sumner, Christchurch

We’re seeking a Registered Nurse with a caring attitude who can:

  • Lead a team of committed caregivers to deliver high-quality compassionate care
  • Develop and monitor individual care plans
  • Conduct clinical assessments
  • Build trusting relationships with residents, families, and GPs
  • Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers

Your Skills & Experience

  • Qualified as a Registered Nurse (experience in NZ or internationally)
  • Possess a current APC (Appraisal & Refresher Course)
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Have a genuine love for helping others with a friendly, positive attitude
  • Demonstrate strong team support, empathy, and a drive for positive change
  • Commitment to continuous learning with a solid grasp of health, safety, and care standards
