Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Dova Acute Mental Health Ward

Are you a compassionate, motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) looking to develop your career within a supportive and dynamic acute inpatient environment?
About the Role
Dova Unit is a busy acute mixed-sex mental health ward delivering assessment, treatment, and recovery-focused care for adults experiencing acute mental health difficulties. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care while supporting individuals through some of their most challenging life experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in acute mental health crises
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and contributing to care planning
- Managing a named nurse caseload and coordinating patient care throughout admission
- Administering and monitoring medication in line with Trust policies
- Supporting patients in their recovery journey and promoting independence
- Developing therapeutic relationships with patients, carers, and families
- Collaborating within the multidisciplinary team (psychiatric, psychological, occupational therapy, social work, and peer support staff)
- Contributing to risk assessment, risk management, and safeguarding processes
- Supporting junior staff, students, and new team members
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation via electronic patient records
