About the Role: MRI Registered Nurse (MRI RN)

This role involves supporting patients throughout MRI procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and seamless care before, during, and after imaging.

- Pre-procedure: Screen patients for metal implants, medical devices, or claustrophobia risks; prepare equipment and contrast materials.
- During procedure: Monitor vital signs, adjust settings as needed, and assist radiologists with expertise, ensuring patient safety.
- Post-procedure: Verify follow-up protocols and educate patients/families on care instructions.
- General duties: Maintains accurate documentation, adheres to ** patient confidentiality (HIPAA),** and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program; Associate Degree in Nursing candidates must complete BSN within 36 months of hire.
- Current Florida RN license (State or Compact License).
Experience
- At least 6 months of experience as an RN; 2 years preferred.
Certifications & Skills
- BLS certification provided by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: Starting range: $49.83/hour (adjusted based on experience/equity for equivalent roles).
