About the Role:
Join Adult Community Mental Health Services (ACMHS) and make a real difference in the lives of people experiencing mental health challenges across the ACT. As part of the Intake Services Team, you will work within the Home Assessment and Acute Response Team (HAART), including the innovative Police Ambulance Clinician Early Response (PACER) service, delivering timely, evidence-based and recovery-focused care to adults experiencing acute mental health crises.
ACMHS provides specialised community mental health services for adults aged 18 years and over, working collaboratively with consumers, carers, support networks and key stakeholders to promote recovery and wellbeing. In this rewarding role, you will conduct community-based assessments and interventions, support hospital diversion, and contribute to the PACER tri-service response alongside ACT Policing and ACT Ambulance Service, ensuring people receive the right care at the right time.

HAART and PACER operate seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays, with an overnight on-call service. The successful applicant will work a rotating roster of 8- and 10-hour shifts and report to the HAART Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team at the forefront of community mental health crisis response.
