About the Role

At Bupa, we pride ourselves on over 75 years of healthcare expertise, offering digital care training to empower you. As a Registered Nurse, you’ll:

  • Take ownership of residents’ well-being, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Mentor teams by leading formal and informal training for colleagues and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans, monitor safety, and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Drive clinical improvement—ensuring best practice and supporting CQC compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Care Plans: Assessments, evaluations, and personalised plan development.
  • Team Guidance: Clinical supervision of staff and robust adherence to protocols.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Actively champion advocacy—any background is welcome, especially neurodivergent or disabled applicants; we’re a Disability Confident Employer.
  • Assurance: Ensure standards meet regulatory expectations (STAT-LEAp, CQC focus).

Person Specification

✔ General Requirements

  • Valid NMC registration and a minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience.
  • Proven ability to Budget and manage workload.
  • Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

✔ Leadership & Communication

  • Experience coaching cohorts or managing high-dependent teams under complex demands.
  • Confident verbal and written reporting (handovers, clinical concerns).
  • Collaborative, fostering team confidence in informal settings.

✔ Technical Expertise

  • Comfortable with electronic patient records and digital training.
  • Experience navigating Instruction Set (process automation).

✔ Transferable Skills

Remuneration & Schedule

  • Hourly Rate: £20.51 – £22.64 per hour (dependent on experience)
  • Flex Time: 36 hours/day shift (8am–8pm), full-time roles.
  • Overtime Premium: £1.50 per hour for weekends, extra £2 for over-hours.
  • Welcome Bonus: £xx(*conditional on four full weeks]).
