JOB OVERVIEW
This is a fixed-term/secondment position lasting 3 months until July 17th, 2026, designed to meet the current service requirements.
Applicants must:
- Be currently employed by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB)
- Obtain permission from their current line manager before submitting an application
POST DESCRIPTION
As a Band 5 Nurse in this role, you will:
- Provide day-to-day management assistance to the Ward Manager, ensuring best practices for patient care.
- Oversee clinical and nurse management of the ward when senior staff are absent.
- Occasional coverage of the Ward Manager’s responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to foster positive relationships.
MAIN DUTIES
- Supervise junior staff and provide mentorship to qualified and unqualified staff.
- Consideration will be given to applications from Welsh-speaking applicants (though English speakers are equally welcomed).
- This role serves the service’s immediate needs as part of a 3-month secondment period.
