We’re currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team at Alpine Lodge in Stocksbridge. If you’re someone who naturally brings warmth, energy, and creativity wherever you go, and you love the idea of making each day meaningful for our residents, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities
As our Registered Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by:
- Ensuring high standards of care in accordance with the care plan and maintaining appropriate handover reports to meet all residents' needs at all times.
- Supporting junior care and ancillary staff to deliver the best care experience and create a homely atmosphere.
- Reporting any ill health among clients and coordinating GP and professional visits where required.
- Developing, reviewing, and maintaining Clients’ Care Plans, working collaboratively with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals under NMC guidelines and Company policy.
- Assessing and ensuring the health supervision and direct nursing care for residents’ needs.
- Conducting ongoing social/healthcare assessments, including evaluating new clients and reviewing existing residents’ plans.
- Keeping accurate records and updating individualised Care Plans for all residents. Care Plans to be reviewed bi-annually or more frequently if necessary.
- Conducting regular checks on residents, including adherence to scheduled visits by the Home Manager and ensuring clear handover reports to incoming staff.
- Administering medication, performing dressings, catheterisation and tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions.
- Maintaining holistic care through collaborative networking with health and social care professionals involved in the wellbeing of individual residents.
- Upholding the highest standards of integrity in relations with residents’ personal and financial affairs.
- Abiding by and abiding by the NMC Code of Conduct at all times.
- Maintaining an active and unrestricted NMC registration.
- Meeting Revalidation criteria and maintaining a professional profile per NMC guidelines.
