Position Overview
We are looking to recruit 2x Registered Nurses to join our team for night shifts at Pentlands Nursing Home, Worthing.
Hours: 24 hours per week Reports to: Home Manager Team: Experienced clinical team delivering proactive and reactive clinical duties in a professional, respectful, and high-quality care environment.
This is a hands-on role requiring a strong commitment to providing exemption care and working seamlessly within our teams.

Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of patient care, ensuring residents’ health, safety, and welfare.
- Champion patient choice and autonomy – uphold dignity and respect for all residents and staff.
- Support and help manage the care team during shifts, collaborating with colleagues to deliver excellent resident care and ensure effective communication.
- Promote team morale while developing and supporting staff as needed.
- Build transparent relationships with families, advocates and Next of Kin (NOK), informing them of any changes in a resident’s physical and emotional well-being.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including individualised care plans, incident reports, conversations, and accountability with external agencies.
Essential Requirements & Skills
✔ 1+ years’ experience in a nursing role ✔ Degree (BSc/Nursing or equivalent) ✔ Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently ✔ Strong verbal and written reporting skills ✔ Previous clinical experience in geriatric, frailty, and end-of-life care
