Registered Nurse (Surgical Trauma & Orthopaedics/Ortho-Geriatric) – Ogwen Ward

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a registered nurse specialising in Surgical Trauma and Orthopaedics, with additional focus on Ortho-Geriatric care, to join our team on Ogwen Ward.
Ogwen Ward is a 30-bedded trauma ward, providing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care. The role requires working collaboratively and cooperatively with colleagues to meet the needs of patients and their families, including:
- Supporting the management and organisation of the clinical area
- Participating in the education, development, and supervision of other staff members
- Acting as a responsible charge nurse in the absence of the senior designated staff member (or during full-time clinical cover including 24-hour shift gaps).
