Registered Nurse - Outpatients / Pre-Assessment (Bank)
The Role
A Registered Nurse (Adult) is required to join the nursing team at The Chiltern Hospital (Great Missenden) and The Shelburne Hospital (High Wycombe), part of Circle Health Group, the UK’s leading provider of independent healthcare. This is a bank-only position supporting busy outpatients and pre-assessment departments.
Successful candidates must be able to travel to both locations.
Working Environment
- Shift Type: Bank shifts (ad-hoc, depending on staffing needs)
- Salary: Up to £19.00 per hour (based on experience, training and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care aligned with patient care plans and clinical protocols
- Assess, prioritise, and update patient care requirements
- Monitor vital signs, recognise clinical changes, and escalate appropriately using clinical judgement
- Administer medications safely in compliance with NMC Code and hospital policies
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely nursing documentation (assessments, care plans, observations)
- Uphold NMC standards and clinical governance requirements
- Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and risks as per hospital policies

Experience & Qualifications
Must have:
- A valid NMC Registration (Adult branch)
- Demonstrated clinical experience in healthcare settings
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice
