Bank Registered Nurse – Care Home (Barchester) – Part-Time Flexible
About the Role
This is a casual, part-time position offering flexible working as a Bank Registered Nurse (RGN) at a Barchester care home. Your core function is to look after the physical, psychological, and social needs of residents, ensuring the quality care they deserve.
You’ll create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental conditions, exercising professional clinical judgement in critical decision-making. Responsibilities include:
- Developing tailored care plans
- Administering medicines safely
- Delivering clinical excellence across all tasks

About You
Key Requirements
- Current NMC Registration
- Expertise in up-to-date clinical practices
- Experience in:
- Creating comprehensive care plans
- Writing detailed risk assessments
- Understanding regulatory frameworks, including DoLs (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards), MCA (Mental Capacity Act), and Royal Pharmaceutical Society guidelines
- A person-centred, empathetic, and thoughtful approach to nursing
