About The Role
This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Registered Nurse at a Barchester care home, you’ll look after the physical, psychological, and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve.
You’ll be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs, while relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions. From developing tailored care plans to administering medicines safely, you’ll uphold excellence across your duties. As a Registered Nurse (RGN), you’ll enjoy autonomy in your work and be truly valued for your expertise.

Key Responsibilities
- Caring for residents’ physical, psychological, and social needs
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans
- Ensuring safe administration of medicines
- Applying clinical expertise to make critical decisions
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory frameworks, including DoLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines
Requirements
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN)
- Proven experience in producing detailed care plans and risk assessments
- Strong knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices
- Compassionate, person-centred, thoughtful approach to care
- Understanding of healthcare regulations, including DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards) and MCA (Mental Capacity Act)
