About the Role

Become a Bank Registered Nurse (RGN) at Barchester care homes—where compassionate, flexible nursing is rewarded. This 0hrs casual contract delivers exceptional care to residents with diverse physical and mental needs while offering autonomy, respect, and a united team.

Your Responsibilities

Employ your professional judgement to:

  • Create tailored care plans and detailed risk assessments for each resident’s unique needs.
  • Administer medicines safely in compliance with Royal Pharmaceutical Society guidelines.
  • Provide physically, psychologically, and socially supportive care in a safe, secure environment.
  • Work collaboratively but with full autonomy to deliver excellence in clinical decision-making and resident well-being.
  • Thoroughly understand and uphold Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLs), Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and regulatory frameworks.

About You

To thrive in this role, you must bring:

  • Current NMC registration (RGN required).
  • Proven experience in well-developed care plans and clinical best practice.
  • A dedicated, compassionate approach, prioritising person-centred care.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory compliance and learning disability/mental health nursing standards.
  • Commitment to capacity-building and continual professional development.
