About The Role
As a Registered Nurse at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve.
We'll rely on you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs, while exercising your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions. Expect a broad scope of responsibilities, including:
- Developing tailored care plans
- Ensuring safe medicine administration
- Delivering excellence across all aspects of resident care
As an RGN, you’ll have the autonomy to perform your duties the right way and be truly valued for your contribution.

About You
Key Requirements:
- Current NMC registration
- Expertise in modern clinical practices
- Experience in:
- Producing well-developed care plans
- Conducting detailed risk assessments
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including:
- Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLs)
- Mental Capacity Act (MCA)
- Royal Pharmaceutical Society guidelines
Qualities:
- Dedicated, compassionate approach to person-centred care
- Strong clinical judgement
- Commitment to continuous thoughtful practice
