Registered Nurse – Barchester Care Home
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse at a Barchester care home, you’ll care for the physical, psychological, and social needs of our residents to ensure they receive the quality care they deserve.
You’ll create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental health needs, while relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing tailored care plans
- Ensuring safe medication administration
- Delivering excellence across all aspects of care
- Making independent, detail-oriented decisions that align with our standards

As a Registered Nurse (RGN), you’ll have autonomy in your work, supported by our commitment to valuing and respecting your skills and compassion.
About You
We’re looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN) with:
- Current NMC registration
- Strong knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices
- Experience in creating well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including:
- Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLs) & Mental Capacity Act (MCA)
- Royal Pharmaceutical Society guidelines
- A dedicated, compassionate approach
- A person-centred, thoughtful mindset
