The Registered Nurse (RN) will demonstrate competence aligned with professional nursing standards, the Nurse Practice Act, and the values of Community Health Network. Responsibilities include:
- Managing patient care across the healthcare continuum
- Ensuring optimal outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner
- Collaborating, delegating, negotiating, and efficiently managing resources

Based in the Med/Surg/Oncology Unit at Community East Hospital, RNs here care for diverse patients, including those requiring medical and surgical treatment for cancers and hematology-related diagnoses. Nurses in this unit will develop a broad skill set, including completion of ONC certification within one year.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Graduate of a nursing program accredited by:
- National League for Nursing (NLN)
- Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
- Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
- National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) OR three years of related professional nursing experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license in Indiana, adhering to the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Preferred: One year of RN experience (though new graduates will be considered)
- Required: Achievement of chemotherapy certification within six months of hire
