The successful applicant will uphold high standards of patient care under the direction of senior nursing staff.you may be asked to assume link nurse roles as well as auditing responsibilities as delegated by the senior nurse.

- 1.1 Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised patient care across the Day Surgery unit, integrating research findings where applicable.
- 1.2 Establish strong collaborative relationships with colleagues in:
- Ward & Recovery teams
- Operating Theatres
- Trauma services
- Surgical Admissions
- 1.3 Comply with all nursing procedures and practices as per Trust guidelines and adhere to local policies of the Day Surgery Unit.
- 1.4 Maintain competence in all required areas of Day Surgery care.
- 1.5 Keep accurate, legible, and up-to-date nursing records, ensuring strict confidentiality in record-keeping.
- 1.6 Foster effective communication with:
- Patients and their relatives
- Colleagues and other MDT members
- 1.7 Promote patient health education and well-being.
