Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based in Belfast. The Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring health status, documenting clinical observations, and responding to changes in condition.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Coordinating care plans
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Supporting healthcare assistants
- Ensuring that care is delivered in line with regulatory and clinical guidelines
- Communicating with residents and families
- Maintaining accurate records
- Contributing to a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment within the nursing home

Qualifications

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and eligibility to practice in the UK.
- Clinical skills in medication administration, wound care, infection control, and monitoring vital signs.
- Strong assessment, care planning, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work shifts, manage time and priorities, and remain calm in urgent or complex clinical situations.
- Commitment to person-centered care, dignity, safeguarding, and equality, with a compassionate and professional approach.
- Experience in nursing home, geriatric, or long-term care settings is an advantage but not essential.
- Ongoing willingness to engage in professional development, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
