Registered Nurse - General Surgery

Band 5

Fixed Term

Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

Ward 15 is a 24 bedded surgical ward, we are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our friendly nursing team in the Liverpool University Foundation Hospitals NHS Trust, Aintree Site. If you are passionate about providing the highest standards of care to patients and if nothing but the best will do we want to hear from you. You will be working as part of an experienced and supportive multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and undertake delegated tasks from the ward sister/charge nurse.
  • Following successful completion of foundation gateway, will be required to take charge of ward/department for a span of duty.
  • Always work within the NMC’s Code of Professional Conduct.
