Our Women’s & Men’s Centre delivers specialist, patient-centred care in a discreet, supportive, and professional environment. We provide high-standard clinical support across a wide range of treatments and procedures, ensuring every patient’s journey is safe, reassuring, and well-cared-for.

About the Role

You’ll join us as a Registered Nurse, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient-centred nursing care within the Women’s & Men’s Centre.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while adhering to NMC standards and organisational policies.
  • Providing clinical support during consultations, investigations, and procedures.
  • Ensuring care aligns with professional, regulatory, and organisational benchmarks.
  • Offering reassurance, information, and emotional support to patients throughout their journey.
  • Collaborating with consultants and colleagues to drive positive patient outcomes and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred nursing care in a specialised setting.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in line with NMC standards and best practice.
  • Provide support during consultations, investigations, treatments, and minor procedures.
  • Monitor patient wellbeing and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Offer information, education, and emotional support to patients and families.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of care.
  • Adhere to infection prevention, safeguarding, medicines management, and information governance.
  • Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure ongoing professional competence through training and development.

About You

We’re looking for a Registered Nurse (Adult) with:

  • Current NMC registration.
  • A genuine commitment to exceptional patient care.
  • Strong clinical skills and a professional, patient-focused approach.

Ideal experience and attributes include:

  • Previous experience within Gynaecology or Urology.
  • Familiarity or willingness to develop across all specialties within the Women’s & Men’s Centre, including Enhanced Breast Screening.
  • Competency in essential clinical procedures such as cannulation, phlebotomy, and injections.
  • Experience delivering care in line with best practice guidelines.

Key skills:

  • Excellent communication—confident, sensitive, and empathetic with patients and colleagues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Comfortable using electronic patient records and digital platforms.
  • Organised, proactive, and workspace with high standards of safety and accuracy.
  • A collaborative team player who values equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Passion for continuous learning, clinical excellence, and exceptional patient care.
