About the Role
The Intensive Assertive Community Treatment Pathway is a new pathway sitting within our existing CMHT's. CWPT have secured funding to provide intensive treatment for people with psychosis who have risks linked to non-engagement. This is following the recommendations from the Enquiry into the Incident in Nottingham in 2023.
The service will be multi-disciplinary, consisting of OT, Nursing, Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Worker, VCSE, dual diagnosis workers, support workers and peer workers. The service works closely with health, social care, statutory and voluntary sector partners.
The focus of the pathway is to provide intensive evidence-based interventions to some of the most vulnerable in society. The team will be truly collaborative to work with this challenging but rewarding client group. We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic, and experienced individuals who can work confidently on their own as well as being a team player and have knowledge and ideas on how to assertively engage. Good communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as knowledge of the needs of people with psychosis. We also are looking for people who are motivated to be involved in innovation and service development.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
