About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Support Manager to join our new Birkdale village.

This is a key registered leadership role, responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care and support across the service. You will hold registration for the service and play a central role in maintaining strong regulatory compliance, excellent care standards and a positive experience for residents, tenants, customers and families.

Working closely with the General Manager, Village Nurse Manager and wider leadership team, you will help shape the culture, quality and day-to-day delivery of care at Birkdale.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who understands regulated care, can lead teams with confidence, and wants to be part of developing a service that genuinely makes a difference.

Salary £52,758

Application closing date 5th August 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold and maintain CQC registration for the service

  • Ensure the service meets regulatory requirements, internal quality standards and best practice guidance
  • Support the development of strong care, support and household teams
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding, medication processes and quality assurance
  • Work closely with the General Manager and clinical leadership team to monitor performance and drive improvement
  • Promote a culture of dignity, choice, independence and positive risk-taking
  • Support recruitment, induction, supervision, performance and development of colleagues
  • Build positive relationships with residents, tenants, families, professionals and external partners
  • Ensure accurate records, audits, action plans and governance processes are maintained
  • Prepare for and support CQC inspections and other external reviews
  • Champion Belong's values and household model in everyday practice

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
