Join Our Brand-New Practice and Help Shape Its Future

Are you a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of something new? Our purpose-built Whetstone Vets for Pets practice opened its doors in Summer 2025, and we're looking for an enthusiastic RVN to join us as we continue to grow.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in developing a new practice, working alongside a supportive and forward-thinking team in a modern, well-equipped environment.

About Us

Our Practice Owner, Shweta Nakrani, graduated from The University of Liverpool in 2011 and is currently studying towards a Certificate in Veterinary Consulting (CertNCS VetCons). Shweta has a particular interest in cat-friendly practice, soft tissue surgery, and brachycephalic airway syndrome.

Shweta says: "I'm excited to build a team that thrives on collaboration, positivity and mutual support, creating a workplace where both colleagues and patients can flourish."

Our state-of-the-art surgery has been thoughtfully designed to provide exceptional clinical care while offering a comfortable and enjoyable working environment. Facilities include:

  • Digital radiography
  • Dedicated operating theatre
  • Separate dog, cat and isolation wards
  • Spacious colleague break room

As a growing practice, we're committed to supporting professional development and encouraging our team to pursue additional qualifications and CPD opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
