This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing practice where your skills and ideas will be truly valued. Whether you’re an experienced Nurse searching for a new opportunity, or you’ve recently qualified and are looking for a supportive team to find your feet; we will help you reach your potential.
Based inside a Pets at Home store on Fairlands Way, you will see a wide variety of cases, including cats, dogs, and small furries, and we take pride in working up cases to an extremely high standard. We have a bright, air-conditioned surgery which is purpose-built to industry-leading standards, with state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities. And you’ll work alongside an experienced and friendly team of 4 Nurses.
We are looking for a Nurse who has a genuine interest in developing their skills in Schedule 3 procedures and nurse-led clinics. The ideal candidate will be confident, proactive, and committed to delivering high standards of patient care, with a strong focus on case management and continuity of care. You should be a team player with excellent communication skills, eager to grow your clinical experience, and motivated to contribute positively to both patient outcomes and the wider practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
