Life At PetMedics Walkden
PetMedics is a thriving, multi-site veterinary group made up of a state-of-the-art 24‑hour hospital, a fully refurbished first‑opinion practice, and a dedicated consulting branch. The team consists of 37 veterinary surgeons, many of whom are already Certificate Holders or working toward certification. They are supported by an exceptional group of Certificate‑holding RVNs, patient care assistants, and receptionists who all share the same commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
You will work with a friendly, supportive team and have access to excellent clinical facilities, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and an on-site laboratory. Additionally, you'll benefit from our 24-hour hospital and certificate-led referral team based in Worsley, which offers specialist support for more complex cases. Case continuity is a priority, with the opportunity and expectation to manage cases from start to finish.

We're looking for a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our team. No two days will be the same, you will:
Be passionate about delivering exceptional care to both our patients and their owners every day. Support the outcome of patients care in all aspects of clinical work as part of the team. Ensure Quality is maintained by keeping our practice in excellent condition- ensuring quality of care and the best possible outcomes for every patient Learn, develop and grow with us, taking advantage of ongoing training and development opportunities offered by CVS and our practice. Contribute to creating a positive environment, fostering a friendly, welcoming and supportive team culture. Communicate with confidence, use your exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—to build strong, lasting relationships with colleagues, clients, and the pets they love.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years' experience interested in nurse's clinics with the ability to also be confident in theatre.
