Manchester Fort Vets for Pets | Full-Time | Up to £29,500 DOE
Are you an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to join a modern, forward-thinking practice where you'll be supported, encouraged to develop, and genuinely enjoy coming to work?
Manchester Fort Vets for Pets is looking for a passionate and confident RVN to join our friendly, inclusive team in our brand-new, purpose-built practice, which opened in 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who enjoys being hands-on across all aspects of nursing and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient and client care. You'll play an important role within our busy first-opinion practice, working alongside a supportive team that values collaboration, clinical excellence, and continuous learning.

You'll be joining a close-knit team consisting of:
- 2 Veterinary Surgeons
- 1 Registered Veterinary Nurse
- 1 Veterinary Care Assistant
- 1 Client Care Advisor
- 1 Practice Manager

The Role
This is a varied and rewarding nursing position within a busy first-opinion practice. Our caseload includes routine consultations alongside a broad range of medical and surgical cases, providing plenty of opportunity to utilise and develop your nursing skills.
You'll be involved in all aspects of nursing, including:
- Nurse consultations and preventative healthcare clinics
- Inpatient care and monitoring
- Anaesthesia and theatre nursing
- Diagnostic imaging and laboratory work
- Supporting surgical and medical cases
- Delivering outstanding patient and client care as part of a collaborative clinical team
Our Facilities
Our modern practice is fully equipped with everything you need to provide excellent clinical care, including:
- Ultrasound
- Digital X-ray
- Multi-parameter monitoring
- In-house laboratory
- Dental machine
- Pulse oximetry
- Doppler equipment
About You
We're looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who:
- Is confident working within a first-opinion practice.
- Enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing and thrives in a hands-on clinical role.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- Works well as part of a supportive team while also using their own initiative.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is keen to continue learning and developing professionally.
