An exciting opportunity has arisen at our small animal practice, Barnsley Cortonwood Vets for Pets, for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, welcoming team.
Our purpose-built surgery is fully equipped to deliver excellent clinical care. You’ll be part of a close-knit team comprising 1 Vet, 2 Nurses, a Practice Manager, and 3 Client Care Advisors.
In this role, you’ll have the chance to utilise your nursing skills to their full potential, including admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, supporting recovery, and managing discharges.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong general nursing experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic demeanor
- Genuine passion for animal welfare

This is a part-time position, working 31.87 hours per week across 3 days, including a 1-in-4 Saturday rota.
