Salary
Starting from £31,500 per annum, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package.
Working Pattern
- Full-time – 40 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday.
- Shifts between 7:30am and 8:30pm.
- 1 in 6 weekends, with 2 days off in lieu the following week.
- 1 Bank Holiday per year.
- No routine night shifts.

The Team & Practice
North Downs Specialist Referrals is an internationally recognised referral centre of excellence and an RCVS-accredited multidisciplinary hospital. Our specialists provide advanced care across Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Dentistry, Diagnostic Imaging and Anaesthesia, delivering outstanding care to patients referred from practices across the UK.
You'll be joining a collaborative multidisciplinary team where nurses are empowered to fully utilise their skills, contribute to exceptional patient care and continue developing professionally. Through our innovative Nursing Pathways programme, you'll have access to tailored learning opportunities and clear progression routes designed around your career aspirations.
Situated in the heart of the beautiful Surrey Downs, NDSR is a purpose-built specialist hospital featuring four operating theatres, five dedicated wards including a High Dependency Unit, and a comprehensive diagnostics suite with state-of-the-art MRI and CT scanners, endoscopy facilities, digital radiography and ultrasound. While surrounded by stunning countryside, the hospital is conveniently located close to Redhill's transport links and just a short drive from Junction 6 of the M25, offering easy access from London and the South East.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced RVN who:
- Is a Registered Veterinary Nurse with at least one year's post-qualification experience.
- Has a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
- Enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Is confident managing a varied caseload and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Has excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Is eager to continue learning and developing their clinical knowledge.
- Shares our commitment to providing the very highest standards of patient and client care.
