About The Role
Registered Veterinary Nurse at Mayow Veterinary Surgery
Join our amazing team at Mayow Veterinary Surgery as a Registered Veterinary Nurse!
We are hiring for a RVN to join our phenomenal team in Sydenham. This is an incredible opportunity to work alongside a super supportive team of RVNs, and certificate holding vets, with interests in Soft Tissue Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology & more, giving you a wide and varied caseload to keep you feeling satisfied every day.
At Mayow Vets, we have some great equipment available, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and ophthalmology equipment. We are also ISM Silver Accredited Cat Friendly!
As a RVN in our team, you will be practising your skills to your full potential, nursing inpatients, performing schedule 3 procedures, monitoring anaesthetics, running nurse clinics and more. We are dedicated to supporting you in becoming the RVN you want to be.
You will also be required to work at our Parish Lane Veterinary Surgery, a lovely branch practice in the Mayow region within our independent group.

If you are relocating to the area, the practice is located in South-East London, with lots of local schools close by and some lovely parks in the area. The train station is only a few minutes walk from the practice and there are good bus links nearby too.
This position would suit a dedicated and progressive RVN, and has lots of opportunity to progress either clinically within your role, or progress your career into Senior and Head RVN positions. Lots of the RVNs within our group have went on to become Area, Project and even Operations Managers.
The Package With This Position Includes
- Salary Up to £38,000, Depending on Experience

Dane and Alan have taken their years of experience working in numerous high quality practices, to provide exceptional vet care across London and Kent. Claire Baker joined Alan and Dane as a Director in 2019, originally arriving at the main London hospital in 2013 as a locum. Claire heads up the Group’s operations and vet team recruitment.
