Are you an RVN looking for a new challenge in a thriving practice where you are encouraged to develop your clinical interests and apply the skills you've trained so hard to acquire?

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified nurse to join our team here at Spalding Vets for Pets!

About Us

We can offer you the environment, caseload and equipment needed to utilise the skills you’ve gained to date whilst also giving you plenty of opportunity to develop further. We are proactive to continually support postgraduate qualifications and CPD for training in your areas of interest.

We’re situated inside one of our new concept stores and are designed to deliver not only the highest clinical standards, but also a pleasant working environment for the whole team. The practice is in the lovely market town of Spalding, with good national and international transport links and the opportunity to establish a loyal, engaged client base quickly.

You’ll be joining our Practice Owner who has 25 years industry experience and is passionate about Orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery.

About You

Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. We’re looking for a proactive, enthusiastic team player who is keen to work in a progressive, fast paced first opinion practice, with high clinical standards. The key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
