Registered Veterinary Nurse
Registered Veterinary Nurse – Medivet Croydon
Medivet Croydon is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly, small team in South London. Enjoy building lasting client and pet relationships while supporting exceptional standards of care alongside a Veterinary Surgeon and two Veterinary Care Assistants.
The Role
This rewarding position offers clinical nursing, surgical support, nurse-led consultations and clinics, Schedule 3 procedures, and gold-standard inpatient care. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment, taking ownership as a patient advocate.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting medical and surgical cases, including general nursing duties
- Leading nurse consultations and clinics, plus performing Schedule 3 procedures
- Providing outstanding inpatient care and patient monitoring
- Collaborating across a resourced 24-hour veterinary hospital (Beckenham)
- Weekend/bank holiday/on-call coverage (1 in 5 weekends included)

About You
- Passionate Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered)
- Champion of exceptional patient/clients care
- Thrives in a supportive, collaborative team
What You’ll Do
- Deliver nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 procedures
- Manage patient admissions/discharges and consultations
- Ensure regulatory practice standards (e.g. vaccination protocols)
- Engage with:
- Clinical communities and internal CPD
- Discipline-focused mentoring and support
