Job Title: Full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse (12-month fixed term)
Location: Peak District
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: From £30,000 per annum

About The Role
This is a full-time (40 hours) position, based primarily at our main practice with occasional shifts at our clinic site.
Shift pattern:
A range of shifts between 8am – 7pm, covering:
- Inpatient care
- Nurse clinics
- Theatre duties
This role is offered on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.

Our Facilities & Team
You’ll be joining a well-equipped practice where nurses are truly valued and encouraged to use their skills to the fullest.
Our practice includes:
- 4 consultation rooms (including a dedicated nurse consulting room)
- Separate dog, cat and isolation wards
- In-house laboratory
- Ultrasound, endoscopy and digital x-ray (including dental x-ray)
Our nursing team:
- 10 RVNs
- 1 SVN
- 1 PCA
We actively encourage Schedule 3 nursing and support nurses to work to their full potential.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an RVN at Victoria Vets, you will:
- Deliver high-quality patient care
- Undertake all general nursing duties, maximising nursing provision
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Uphold excellent clinical standards across the practice
- Support and deliver patient care initiatives
- Communicate effectively with clients about their pets’ healthcare
- Participate in CPD and share knowledge with the team
