Registered Veterinary Nurse - Flexible Hours + Welcome Bonus Included

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a role where you’re genuinely appreciated, supported as a person, and encouraged to grow? Would you love to work in a friendly, close-knit practice where your ideas matter, your wellbeing is respected, and no two days feel the same?

If that sounds like you, we’d love to welcome you to Hertford Vets for Pets.

Why Choose Hertford Vets for Pets?

We’re proud to be a small, supportive team where everyone plays a meaningful role and nobody feels like “just a number.” Our nurses are at the heart of what we do and are actively involved in all areas of clinical care — from anaesthesia and inpatient care to nurse consultations, laboratory work and theatre.

We believe in trust, autonomy and development, giving you the freedom to shape your role around your strengths, interests and career ambitions, while always having the support of a caring team around you.

About Our Practice:

Located in the charming market town of Hertford, our purpose-built clinic offers a calm, welcoming environment for both clients and colleagues. You’ll be joining a warm, collaborative team made up of: 2 Vets, a head nurse and a small non-clinical team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
