Registered Veterinary Nurse – Full-Time at The Rowe Vets (Wotton)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at The Rowe Vets – Wotton on a full-time basis.
Wotton-under-Edge Surgery and MRI Centre is situated just 10 minutes from junction 14 of the M5, with easy access to Bristol. We are a friendly, supportive team working to a high clinical standard, known for our:
- Variety of interesting cases, with three veteran surgeons on-site
- Link to our Neurology department
- On-site iodine therapy unit
- Established, experienced team
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care while supporting exceptional client experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining patient care standards through clinical excellence
- Collaborating with veterinary surgeons and colleagues
- Managing nursing care for first-opinion cases
- Supporting continuous practice improvement

Working Pattern
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–7:30 PM)
- 1 weekend shift in 6 (Saturdays or Sundays at Bradley Stoke Hospital, 8-hour shifts), with time off in lieu
General Responsibilities
- Running nurse clinics
- Assisting with our feline radioactive iodine therapy unit
- Supporting MRI scanning and spinal anaesthesia procedures
- Assisting with surgical and dental operations
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse with:
- RCVS registration
- Clinical experience with growing expertise in medical and surgical nursing
- Exceptional communication skills, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Strong organisational skills to manage workload effectively
- Proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement

Salary Range
£20,000–£31,000 per year (starting salary dependent on experience)
