An exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in Salisbury
Our practice is located in a fantastic setting on a popular retail park, with convenient amenities nearby including a 24-hour gym. Salisbury is a beautiful historic city surrounded by stunning countryside. The New Forest is right on our doorstep, Stonehenge sits just to the north, London is just over an hour away by train, and the south coast can be reached within 30 minutes.
You will be joining a welcoming and experienced team. Our practice is well-equipped with modern, state-of-the-art facilities, allowing you to fully utilise your nursing skills.
Responsibilities
This role offers excellent opportunities to develop and use your clinical nursing abilities, including:
- Running nurse clinics
- Taking and processing blood samples
- Placing catheters
- Performing x-rays
- Monitoring anaesthesia
- And more
Requirements
We are looking for someone with solid general nursing experience and excellent client care skills. The ideal candidate will be:

As a first-opinion practice, no two days are the same – some can be very busy while others are quieter, which keeps the role varied and interesting.
While we have two permanent vets, we also occasionally work with locum vets, so we are looking for an RVN who is adaptable, flexible and confident working with different clinicians and working styles.
Working Hours
This role can either be full-time, or part-time. Our practice opening hours are:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 7:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
