Our modern Andover Practice is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic RVN to join our friendly and welcoming team on a fixed term contract.

The practice opened in 2013 and, over the past 12 years, has built a strong and loyal client base with an excellent reputation in the local area.

Located on the busy Enham Arch Retail Park in the Pets at Home store, we offer a central location with plenty of onsite parking.

We have a strong, forward-thinking, caring team, many of whom have worked for us for many years.

The Candidate:

Our ideal new colleague will be a dynamic and proactive nurse with solid all-round skills. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player with a positive can-do attitude, passionate about customer service.

Our Nurses are encouraged to be used to their full potential in a fast-paced practice with a varied caseload. This includes encouraging Schedule 3 nursing as well as growing nurse clinics and client relationships. We encourage evidence-based nursing.

The role:

First opinion nurse duties to include monitoring anaesthetics, inpatient care, nurse consults, ordering, assisting with procedures. We have visiting ophthalmologist, ultrasonography, and soft tissue specialists, so there is an opportunity to assist with these cases.

This position is working 3 days per week, ideally Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Shifts run between 8 am and 7.30 pm on a rota basis. If you are not available on the above days, please still apply, as we may be flexible for the suitable candidate.
