Competitive Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 depending on experience

Life at Active Vet Care Tilehurst
Due to maternity leave, an opportunity has become available for a Veteirnary Nurse to join our team at AVC Tilehurst. This is a full-time role, working 40 hours a week across 4 or 5 days with a share in the 1:4 Saturday rota.
Active Vet Care Tilehurst is a small animal practice with a passionate and experience team of vets, nurses, PCAs, and receptionists. Our facilities include digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopes, in-house labs, advanced anaesthetic equipment, and ASCNs/visiting orthopaedic surgeons giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding clinical care. The practice benefits from free on-site parking and is conveniently located in the well-connected Tilehurst area with surrounding local amenities, shops, and green spaces. We are a Silver Cat Friendly ISFM and Dogs Trust Dog friendly practice, with separate dog and cat wards, the clinical is thoughtfully designed to reduce stress and improve wellbeing for all patients. We place a strong emphasis on fully utilising our nursing team, empowering nurses to take an active role in surgical nursing and Schedule 3 procedures with the support of the entire team. There is also the opportunity for nurses to take part in district nursing and run consulting clinics independently. About You
Our ideal candidate will be qualified veterinary nurse who is confident in all aspects of clinical work, including anaesthesia, medical nursing, nurse clinics, x-ray, IV placement, bloods and sample collection, and completing the necessary administration. We are happy to take any leave of experience as the role will be fully supported by senior nurses.
