You’ll be joining a thriving, vibrant and energetic team of two permanent vets, and a strong nursing team.

Our practice provides an excellent range of facilities (including ultrasound) giving you access to all the equipment and space and support you need to give the very best care for your patients. We ideally want you to be happy with a good mix of theatre time and consulting time.

  • You will be confident to establish and run weight clinics; diabetes clinics and you will assist with overseeing our pharmacy and ordering processes.
  • Clinical coaching experience is desirable but not essential. A willingness to train as a coach is also desirable and training will be funded.
  • You will have a varied and engaging caseload and will provide passionate and dedicated care for our patients.

Your daily duties will include:

  • Effective communication with clients; case handovers and communication.
  • Liaising with all colleagues to facilitate gold standard patient care.
  • Prioritising and providing safe and effective patient care in a timely manner.
  • Supporting patients undergoing general anaesthesia and sedation.
  • Facilitating diagnostic procedures, including radiography and ultrasound.

Our nurses are skilled, passionate veterinary professionals and as such we ensure that they can achieve their clinical potential. We have a team of talented Client Care Advisors to support the client journey, freeing up our Nurses to carry out their roles effectively and enabling you to develop your own core client base, nurse-led clinics and perform schedule 3 procedures.

You will work 40 hours per week, one Saturday in four, weekday shifts to be agreed, with paid lunch breaks.
