About Us:
Greasby Vets for Pets is a well-established, locally owned first-opinion small animal practice that has been serving the local community since 2014. Located on the Wirral, our modern, purpose-built practice is fully equipped with digital X-ray, an in-house laboratory, dedicated operating theatre, separate dog and cat wards, and facilities to care for a wide range of patients, including small mammals and exotic species. As an RCVS-accredited Small Animal General Practice and Approved Veterinary Nurse Training Practice, we are committed to delivering high standards of clinical care while supporting the ongoing development of our team. We pride ourselves on building lasting relationships with our clients, providing compassionate, personalised care, and fostering a friendly, collaborative working environment where every team member is valued.

About the Role:
By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential, admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering, and discharging patients. Assistance from VCAs and an SVN with turning around theatre, patient prep. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, has a positive mentality, enjoys building relationships with clients and their pets, can work well independently as well as part of a team.
To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.
This is a Full or Part Time role, working varied hours between 8:30am - 7:30pm Monday to Friday and 1:3 Saturday mornings 9am - 1:30pm, but we’re happy to discuss hours that work best for the right candidate.

- Competitive salary range of £28,000 to £36,000 Pro Rata dependant on experience
