We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join at Biggleswade Vets for Pets!
With a brilliant local reputation, you’ll be joining a strong, inclusive clinical team made up of 1 clinical lead and another vet, 3 RVN's and 2 SVNs with a wealth of experience throughout. We also have a great team of 5 Receptionists to support the client journey, freeing our nurses up to carry out their role effectively. One of our Vets also holds a certificate in ophthalmology.
We are based on the White Way Retail Park inside the Pets At Home store, at the heart of the local community. The practice benefits from being adjacent to the A1, located just 40 minutes from the historic city of Cambridge and offers easy access to Luton Airport and direct train links into central London.
Our practice provides excellent facilities giving you access to all the equipment and space you need to care for your patients, including tonometry, ultrasound, a k laser and digital x-rays. Alternative therapies are offered and encouraged including Acupuncture.

This is a full-time role working 36 hours per week over 4 days, with rolling shifts alternating between 8.30am-4.30pm and 11am-7pm. The weekend rota is 1 in 4 (Saturday, 8.30am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm). We are open to discussing fewer days as well, so please get in touch if you feel this role would suit you!

You should have excellent customer service and communication skills, at least 1-2 years of qualified nursing experience and a genuine interest in animal welfare; enjoying the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike.
