Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)
MBM Veterinary Group is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our small animal team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This is a multi-site role, working across our three Small Animal practices located in Kilmarnock, Beith, and Mauchline.

With branches in Kilmarnock, Mauchline, and Beith, we provide comprehensive small animal, equine, and farm animal services across a wide geographical area.

Our Team & Culture
You will be joining a dedicated and experienced Small Animal team, currently comprising:
- 20 Veterinary Surgeons, including certificate holders in Cardiology and Surgery, and others pursuing further qualifications in Surgery and Internal Medicine.
- 16 Registered Veterinary Nurses, supported by 4 Animal Nursing Assistants and 14 Reception staff.

Flexible Working That Fits Your Lifestyle
We take a flexible approach to working hours and are committed to supporting a positive work–life balance. The role offers up to 40 hours per week, which can be worked over four or five days to suit your preferences. Participation in a 1-in-4 Saturday morning rota (8:30am–1:00pm) is required, with no out-of-hours or on-call duties. We welcome applications from candidates seeking part-time hours or alternative working patterns.
