Full-Time | 40 hours per week | 1 in 4 Weekends
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our warm and supportive team at Brislington Vets for Pets.
About Us
Brislington Vets for Pets is a locally owned, purpose-built small animal practice designed to industry-leading standards. Our bright, air-conditioned facility is fully equipped to support a busy GP practice, including a Class 4 laser, Vet-tome, dental FireCR digital radiography, a dedicated surgical suite, and a fully equipped dental suite.
Our Team
You will be joining a close-knit, highly experienced clinical team with a strong and supportive nursing focus. Our nursing team plays a central role in the smooth running of the practice and consists of three Registered Veterinary Nurses, one Student Nurse, and one VCA, all working collaboratively to deliver high standards of patient care.
The wider team is led by Practice Owner Gabriel, who has a strong surgical interest and is nearing completion of a certificate in orthopaedics. He is supported by three experienced vets, all of whom have been with the practice for over six years. One team member previously left but returned due to their strong connection to the practice, while another has been here since the practice opened—reflecting the positive, stable, and supportive environment we are proud of.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
