An exciting opportunity has become available at Clacton-on-Sea Vets for Pets for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and growing team.

We are looking for a nurse who enjoys being fully involved in patient care and wants to work in a supportive environment with strong clinical standards.

About Us:

Our modern, purpose-built surgery is located within the Pets at Home store in Clacton-on-Sea and has been thoughtfully designed to deliver excellent clinical care while maintaining a welcoming and supportive working environment for the whole team.

The practice is well-equipped with modern facilities to support high-quality general practice, including digital radiography, state of the art ultrasound, in-house laboratory equipment and dedicated surgical facilities.

Our current team consists of 2 Vets, 2 RVN, 1 VCA and 2 client care advisors, working closely together to provide excellent care to our patients and clients. As the practice continues to grow, we are looking to expand our nursing team.

We encourage our nurses to utilise their full skillset and play an active role in patient care, including anaesthesia, inpatient management, nurse consultations, diagnostics and client education.

We are particularly interested in nurses who enjoy developing their clinical skills and being actively involved in patient care. Our goal is to maintain a practice where nurses are trusted to use their knowledge, take initiative and contribute meaningfully to the clinical team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
