Registered Veterinary Nurse - Full Time - 40 hours - 4 day working week - to be worked between our Greenwich and Lewisham clinics (plus 1 in 6 full weekends at our fantastic Beckenham hospital)
We are recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to complete our teams across Medivet Greenwich and Lewisham, and we want to hear from you!
Medivet Greenwich and Lewisham are both well-equipped practices situated in South East London — and we think you’ll love it here. Let us paint you a picture…
- A friendly reception area welcomes our clients and their pets, with 2 consult room setups and a calm atmosphere that both our team and patients appreciate.
- Back of house, we have an efficient, open-plan layout with everything you need to deliver top-tier care — including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab equipment and a dedicated surgical theatre.
You’ll be stepping into a supportive, close-knit team. Our clients are loyal and involved in their pet's care, which gives us the opportunity to thoroughly work up cases and deliver the best possible outcomes.
There’s scope for nurse consults, and we’re keen to support your development in this area — whether that’s building your confidence in clinics or pursuing a particular area of interest.
To support a healthy work-life balance, this role follows a 4-day working week with 1:6 weekends, and you'll have a fixed day off during the week for that much-needed "me time."
We’re proud to be part of Medivet’s growing clinical communities — spaces where nurses and vets across the group connect, collaborate, and share knowledge based on their interests and expertise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
